Jack Oberg

Born and raised in Rapid City South Dakota, I was fortunate to grow up with the Black Hills as my back yard. Blessed with a father and grandfathers who were passionate outdoorsmen, my earliest memories are of trolling purple Hot-N-Tots for walleyes and being an extra bird dog flushing pheasants. 

Growing up in Rapid City I was an avid athlete, playing baseball and hockey, with the latter eventually leading me to a short-lived collegiate career near Boston Massachusetts. My true passion had always been the outdoors however, particularly turkeys, elk, waterfowl, and walleyes. I have been fortunate to maximize my time outdoors by working as a hunting guide all across the western United States, primarily running turkey hunts in western South Dakota and spending time in elk camp each September.
